Palin's mother-in-law isn't sold on her

The New York Daily News reports that Governor Sarah Palin from Alaska has to do some work with women. Like her very own mother-in-law.

Faye Palin admitted she enjoys hearing Barack Obama speak, and still hasn't decided which way she'll vote.

"We don't agree on everything. But I respect her passion," she said. "Being pro-life is who Sarah is."

That's fair enough, I think it's a reasonable approach, perhaps more reasonable than a good majority of us would be if it was our family member.

But then there's this:

Faye Palin said the entire family was shocked by the news on Friday.

"I'm not sure what she brings to the ticket other than she's a woman and a conservative. Well, she's a better speaker than McCain," Faye Palin said with a laugh. "People will say she hasn't been on the national scene long enough. But I believe she's a quick study."

You know John McCain used to say you didn't want someone in the White House who needed on the job training. Also, her own mother-in-law isn't sure what the heck this woman will do.

Ignore the fact that a month ago, Gov.Palin didn't know what the VP did and you have yourself a winner America!

P.S. that's Governor Palin at the University of Idaho with her: "I may be broke but I'm not flat busted." shirt.
