A mailer honoring vets (but featuring an elderly man with Soviet war decorations) is only the latest gaffe by Mahoney and his camp. Just recently, he got enmeshed in the debate over whether he'll endorse Obama. But none may be topped by his claim that Cong. "isn't the greatest job I've had."
Here's a guy who's in a vulnerable congressional district and should be doing everything as quietly and efficiently as possible and he's making more gaffes than Jean Schmidt. Considering his opponent will financially destroy him, this is one of the few house seats the GOP can look forward to really giving Democrats a run for their money in, and likely pulling it out.
